I m adding garage doors to my shop garage and only have room for two 8 foot wide doors. Garage door height i m having a 7 tall by 8 wide garage door installed on my new garage addition and was wondering if it s possible to extend the tracks so that when the door is open it will be at a height of 9 instead of 8. Anyone park their truck behind an 8 foot wide garage. Sounds easy enough but the garage door guy says it s too tight to back out.
